1. Who we are

This website is operated by the Gloria Livestock Raisers Agriculture Cooperative (“GLOLIVCO”, “we”, “us” or “our”), an agriculture cooperative based in Gloria, Oriental Mindoro, Philippines. We are the personal information controller for the personal data collected through this website.

We respect your privacy and process personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC).

2. Information we collect

We only collect the personal data we need:

• Information you give us — when you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, mobile number (optional), the topic and your message.
• Membership information — membership applications are submitted in person at our office, not through this website. Those records are handled under this policy and our internal data-protection procedures.
• Technical information — like most websites, our hosting provider and security software automatically log your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and the date and time of your visit. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running.
• Cookies — see our Cookie Policy.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through this website. Please do not include such information (for example, health or government ID numbers) in your messages.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiries, suggestions and complaints;
• To provide information about membership, services, trainings and cooperative programs you ask about;
• To keep this website secure, prevent spam and abuse, and fix technical problems;
• To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used so we can improve it (only if you allow analytics cookies);
• To comply with our legal obligations, including requirements of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) and other government agencies.

Your personal data is accessed only by authorized officers and staff of GLOLIVCO who need it to respond to you. We may share it with:

• Partners (for example, government programs you ask to be referred to), only with your consent.

6. Third-party services and links

This website links to our Facebook page and Messenger, and can display a Google Map of our location. Google Maps is only loaded if you click “Load map” or allow external media in your cookie preferences. These services are operated by third parties under their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

7. How long we keep your data

Contact-form messages are delivered to our cooperative email inbox and are not stored in the website database. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to address your concern and for a reasonable period afterward (generally no longer than two (2) years), unless a longer period is required by law. Security logs are kept for a limited period by our hosting and security providers. When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymized.

8. How we protect your data

We use reasonable organizational, physical and technical security measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), firewall and malware protection, spam filtering, restricted administrator access and regular software updates. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your personal data and will notify you and the NPC of any personal data breach as required by law.

9. Your rights as a data subject

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:

• Be informed whether and how your personal data is processed;
• Access your personal data that we hold;
• Object to processing, including withdrawing consent;
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Erasure or blocking of data that is unlawfully obtained, outdated or no longer necessary;
• Data portability, where applicable;
• Be indemnified for damages due to inaccurate, false or unlawfully obtained data; and
• File a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).

10. Children’s privacy

This website is intended for farmers, members and the general public. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this website.
